Stalin & Hitler~
There has been many great changes in history. These changes are due to many things such as
specific events, the geography of the nation, and people. Especially people. Individuals are usually the
main factors of change. 2 people who have made a huge change in history are Hitler, the leader of the
Nazi party and dictator of Nazi Germany from 1934 to 1945, and Joseph Stalin, the leader of the
Soviet Union. These 2 people have changed history forever due to their actions and dreams.
Adolf Hitler was an Austrian born German politician. He was also the leader of the Nazi Party
and the chancellor and dictator of Nazi Germany. One change made by Hitler is that he had stopped the
unemployment problem. There was a stable currency, no debt, and no inflation. This was pretty ironic
because millions of other people in the US and other Western countries were still unemployed. Within
5 years, Germany became the richest nation in Europe. Another change that Hitler made was that he
eliminated most of the Jewish population. He had believed in a master race and that the master race
should only contain the strong Germans. He had managed to murder 6 million people in the Holocaust.
He also got rid of other weak links, such as disabled and elderly people, and people with illnesses.
Joseph Stalin was the leader of the Soviet Union. He had managed to consolidate power after
the following death of Vladimir Lenin. It was very apparent that Russia needed to build up its strength
to resist outside pressure from other nations. One change that was made by Stalin is that he created the
5 year plan. The 5 year plans dealt with the industrial production. He had introduced collectivisation
after he felt like something needed to be done about the food supply. Those who resisted had been
executed or sent to labour camps. Another change that was made by Stalin was that he entered a non-
aggression pact with Nazi Germany, followed by a Soviet invasion of Poland. After Germany had
